The Golf Pride CP Plus4™ Standard Golf Grip delivers the perfect synthesis of high-tack comfort, vibration dampening, and reduced hand tension. Built with Golf Pride’s tour-proven Plus4 technology, it features a reduced-taper profile that simulates four extra layers of build-up tape beneath the lower hand. This encourages equalized pressure across both hands, relieving forearm tightness to promote a fluid, powerful swing release.

Constructed from an ultra-sticky, soft rubber compound and reinforced with Control Core® internal stabilizer technology, it offers superior comfort without compromising control. The upper-hand zone is engineered with enhanced tack for maximum connection, while the lower section features a textured pattern that delivers dependable, non-slip performance in all playing conditions.

Key Features

  • Plus4™ Reduced Taper Technology: Simulates 4 additional layers of tape under the lower hand to equalize grip pressure, eliminate wrist flipping, and increase swing speed

  • Control Core® Stabilizer: 2.5" internal core stabilizer minimizes torque and twisting at impact for superior shot dispersion and distance control

  • High-Tack Soft Rubber Formula: Softest feel in the Golf Pride performance lineup, delivering cushioned comfort without sacrificing feedback

  • Dual-Zone Traction Design: High-tack upper hand ensures complete club connection, while the micro-textured lower hand delivers all-weather friction

  • Standard Ergonomic Profile: Ideal standard sizing for players who want classic diameter with reduced lower-hand taper

Why We Like It

For golfers seeking a soft, high-tack grip that takes pressure off hand joints while active in rainy or humid conditions, the CP Plus4 Standard is an outstanding choice. The reduced taper lets your trail hand relax, preventing pulled or hooked shots caused by over-gripping.
